Sony Launches 4K Handheld PXW-Z100

Sony 4k PXW-Z100

Sony has announced two brand new 4K cameras the PXW-Z100 for professionals and the FDR-AX1E consumer model.
The PXW-Z100 can record full 4K images at 4096 x 2160, while the FDR-AX1E records at UHD resolution, 3840 x 2160. Both cameras can record 4K at 50p, while the PXW-Z100 can record at 60p as well.

  • XAVC recording format at 4K 50p/60p, 4:2:2 10-bit at 500/600Mbps, HD at up to 223Mbps
  • HDMI interface for 4K output and 3G HD-SDI interface for HD output
  • Paint function for more creative freedom
  • Remote control with WiFi - Control aperture, focus, zoom and start/stop rec.
